Regulation & Compliance

All of our services are registered with and inspected by the appropriate governing bodies within the education and social care sectors, including DfE or Welsh Assembly (Wales) registered, Ofsted or Estyn (Wales) and Care Quality Commission (CQC) or the Care and Social Services Inspectorate Wales (CSSIW).

In addition, we regularly audit the performance of our services using independent bodies such as school improvement partners, and internal systems including self-assessment and cross service inspections.

Risk assessments

Options Group is committed to comprehensive risk management at both group and service level. We provide high quality facilities and accommodation, exceeding sector standards for health and safety. Options Group successfully provides person centred services to vulnerable people, and as such all programmes of care/support, education/learning and therapy are individually tailored and subject to thorough risk assessment and planning.

All staff must pass an enhanced check from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) before commencing employment with Options Group. Recruitment, development and appraisal policies and practice ensure that staff skills and abilities are closely matched with the requirements of their roles.
