Our Wellbeing Strategy
Our Wellbeing Strategy is an embed culture of positive wellbeing throughout Outcomes First Group and our wider community by delivering care, education and clinical provisions that meet a young person’s needs and prioritise successful outcomes, all underpinned and informed by current wellbeing research theory and evidence.
Wellbeing can be defined as a state of being comfortable, healthy and/or happy. We want our Wellbeing Strategy to extend beyond this and to emphasise that positive wellbeing outcomes are everyone’s responsibility.
Our Wellbeing Strategy ensures that all young people will be nurtured, their physical and mental health will be prioritised and they will be given opportunities leading to outcomes that align with their strengths and abilities. It aims to ensure that every young person living and learning in one of our settings reaches their optimum level of wellbeing as defined and measured by placement stability, academic achievement and recognised quality of life outcome assessments.
The strategy is closely linked to our Vision, Mission and Values, as well as our Pledge. These can be seen as over-arching concepts that underpin the more enhanced care and education environments, and the more specialised interventions that some young people will require to reach their optimum level of wellbeing.
