Andrew Asbury – Registered Manager

Andrew Asbury started in the care profession in November 2010, working with Young Adults with Learning Disabilities and Autism in supported living environments.

In March 2013 he took on a Senior Support worker role while he completed his Level 3 in Health and Social Care.

In November 2014 he moved jobs to work in a specialist children’s school with care accommodation onsite as Assistant Team Manager working with children with complex needs and Autism. He progressed to a house manager position by May 2016 and completed his Level 5 in Leadership and Management in a Health and Social Care setting in October 2017.

Andrew started working for Options in June 2017 as a flat manager at another service, before getting the position of Deputy to the Registered Manager in November 2017. Then the position of Registered Manager became available in January 2018 and he was successfully promoted to this role.

He states “I am keen to make positive changes for the people we support by offering them choices and promoting their independence, helping prepare them to transition into community living and have the necessary skills to do this successfully.”
