Autism Help Sheet – Total Communication

The Options Autism Clinical Team has created a series of help sheets offering advice and guidance for parents and carers who look after children, young people and adults with autism.

This month’s help sheet is all about Total Communication and offers advice on how different methods and sources of communication can be combined to give receivers the best possible opportunity to understand and interact.

Read more by clicking the link below and please feel free to forward this information to anyone who you feel will benefit from it.

Read our help sheet about how we can use the Total Communication approach and give people with autism the greatest opportunity to communicate.

If you would like us to cover any particular subjects around autism in future editions then please let us know by emailing info@optionsautism.co.uk

The complete series of help sheets can be found on our website www.optionsautism.co.uk/resources
