News & Events Jonathan Baron shortlisted as a finalist in the Autism Professional Awards
Congratulations to Jonathan Baron, dance teacher from Hillingdon Manor School, who was shortlisted as a finalist in The Autism Professional Awards for the ‘Achievement by an Individual Education Professional’ for all his great work with dance group, Autism with Attitude.
Jonathan, who formed the dance troupe in 2013, goes above and beyond the call of duty, delivering an enriched curriculum and empowering each individual to be the very best they can be. He has not only helped the dance group to achieve but most importantly helped each individual to believe in themselves and their abilities. There have been many achievements to date, including Autism with Attitude being the first special needs group to qualify and compete for the World and European United Dance Organisations Championships.
The Autism Professional Awards recognise and celebrate individuals and services helping to create an autism friendly society for individuals and their families. There are 33 finalists across 11 award categories covering education, health, social care, employment, and volunteering.
