Options Autism provides care and education for children, young people and adults with autism, complex needs and learning difficulties. As specialists in autism, we support them to achieve their own personal success. From the moment we meet them, everything we do is tailored to them. Our Pathway to Independence helps young people move towards more independent living through a bespoke programme that develops their academic, vocational, social and life skills. We are creating and adapting our services continually as we recognise the importance of ongoing support into adulthood.

Students at Options Barton hit a high note

Ten students from Options Barton, have been taking part in the weekly music sessions. The sessions have been fun and informative, introducing students to a variety of music styles and instruments. Students have been learning about different cultures through music, and have learnt to play the drums. The students are currently working on a project themed around Peter and the Wolf, which has involved using woodwind instruments.

Options Malvern View celebrates national recognition

Options Malvern View is celebrating after receiving a national commendation for the high quality support it offers. The service which supports young adults with a range of needs to live as independently as possible was recently given the internationally-recognised Autism Accreditation quality standard, with a commendation, by the National Autistic Society (NAS).

Options Barton gets into the Olympic spirit at sports day

Options Barton held their annual sports day on Thursday 21st July. The sports day was themed around the Olympics, and the teams represented England, Scotland and Wales. Nineteen children took part on the day, including children from our Outreach services, who made a special visit for the occasion. The children were cheered on and supported by parents, grandparents and siblings.

Options Autism becomes the first care provider in England to have four outstanding CQC ratings

Options Autism has become the only such provider in the country to have four of its services rated as ‘Outstanding’ by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) since the introduction of new inspection standards. The outstanding services, all based in and around North Lincolnshire, provide support to young people and adults with autism.

Options Autism Inclusive gets into the party spirit in Winterton

The Winterton Show held their annual float competition & parade on Saturday 2nd July. The theme this year was ‘celebrations’ and the Options Autism Inclusive team got into the celebratory spirit by entering their float into the parade.
