Proud to be Supporting Safer Internet Day this February

This year, the UK Safer Internet Centre are holding Safer Internet Day on Tuesday 9th February and Options Autism will proudly be supporting the event to raise awareness of the safe, responsible and positive use of digital technology for children and young people within our care and across our schools.

This year’s theme is ‘An internet we trust – exploring reliability in the online world’. Through a variety of educational resources, top tips, informative videos and a whole host of useful Information on the Safer Internet Centre website, we will be supporting young people to question what they are viewing online, exploring trust and reliability of information and support them to recognise and speak up against misleading content to make the digital world a safer place.

To read more about how we are getting involved, take a look here for more information.
