Neurodiversity Celebration Week – The Big ASK

Neurodiversity Celebration Week is a time to celebrate diverse brains and promote awareness and understanding towards a more inclusive society. The week also challenges stereotypes and misconceptions about neurological differences.

This year’s theme is “The Big ASK,” inspired by our Neurodiversity Strategy.

We are encouraging everyone to have a deliberate and conscious focus on consultation for Neurodiversity Week 2024 in our “BIG ASK” celebration.

This week, we are encouraging all our teams to get involved with their pupils by taking part in some different activities:

  • A pupil council meeting
  • Create a ‘choosing book’ for pupils to select activities
  • A creative drop-in for pupils to create art and discuss what’s important to them
  • A lesson about democracy
  • A tasting session for new lunch options
